The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The celebrated industry figure died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
