Two Charged In Connection With Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Assault
Two men have been charged related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.
These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.
A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were subsequently released.
This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
