JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an original film. Instead, the latest cinematic release from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the anime's second season combined with the initial episodes of its next season, which begins the Culling Games narrative from the source material. This positions Execution, which has been given a fresh preview, the earliest way to watch the beginning of the forthcoming season ahead of its 2026 January debut. The feature launches in Japanese theaters on November 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

Fans were aware of the production challenges, which made them appreciate what they saw even more. People clamored to see if the Blu-ray, released on March 18, would feature extra content to the battle or to see if it was refined somewhat, and were overjoyed to see exactly that, alongside color corrections, more motion, and altered color palette.
