Recent details have emerged concerning the tragic demises of acclaimed film director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were located at their Brentwood, Los Angeles residence on Sunday.

Upon entering the home, Romy came upon her father's body. Accounts indicate she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. Another individual who had gone with her then dialed 911. Following this, first responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, including the use of a dangerous weapon, reportedly a knife. He is now in custody and is ineligible for bail.
