An Palestinian-American teenager after completing a nine-month period in Israeli detention without being charged was released.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 at the time of his arrest in February throughout the West Bank territory, during a family visit while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
United States authorities expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.
Now sixteen years old, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.
They said he is pale, underweight, while battling health issues acquired while detained.
Via family representatives, family spokesperson conveyed their "tremendous relief".
Family member Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention he requires after being subjected to mistreatment by authorities and cruel circumstances over several months."
US officials announced ongoing to extend consular services to Mohammed's family.
{"American leadership has no higher priority to ensuring the safety for United States citizens"," it added.
Twenty-seven US lawmakers had signed a letter to the state department and President Donald Trump, requesting additional efforts for his freedom.
The father, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop from Florida, had earlier stated his son only confessed about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.
There were no visits or spoken to Mohammed following the detention, learning information solely what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
Mohammed was held without charge at Ofer detention facility throughout the occupied territory.
The facility also contains adult prisoners, some of whom have been convicted for major terrorist activities and homicide.
There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Several lack formal charges and human rights groups, including UN bodies, report instances of physical abuse and torture.
Subsequent to his liberation, family representatives announced the family would also continue fighting demanding accountability for their family member family member Sayfollah.
The dual national youth per medical officials was beaten to death by settlement residents during a confrontation last July.
At the time, defense forces stated they were examining reports a Palestinian civilian had died.
Both young men had worked together at their family's ice cream business from Tampa.
No one has been charged with Sayfollah's killing.
"We anticipate United States leadership to protect our families," the uncle stated.
